Open garden and plant sale this Saturday

This Saturday the garden is open for you to have a look around and there will be perennial plants for sale. It is a great time to plant perennials as the soil is warm from the summer and they can bed in well to thrive next spring/summer. The open garden and sale run from 10-4 at Station House, Finkle Street Lane, Wortley, Sheffield S35 7DH and everyone is welcome. All proceeds go to the garden charity. The garden is looking glorious with the hydrangea Annabelle’s in full bloom – see below

Elsewhere there is colour with the hot bed having matured this year with wonderful echinacea hot papaya that have taken a while to establish but are now great fun. Elsewhere there are echinacea white swan, (see below) planted with a herbaceous potentilla, again these echinacea took a while to establish but are now plentiful. Come along and see the planting for real. Enjoy the plants in the main garden area and the woodland which has been developed over the last year. Still alot of work to do but plenty to see in spite of that. Hopefully see you Saturday.
